Rotterdam port consists of different harbour basins and company premises which all contribute to the delivery and transport of goods. In the port, the transport of (petro)chemical products and other industries is notably dealt with in addition to the storage and transshipment of goods from third parties for further transport. Rotterdam port is also the most important gateway to a European market of more than 350 million consumers. This is why the port of Rotterdam is one of the most important crossroads of goods flows in the world.
